Keep Those Cards & Letters (& EMAILS & Phone CallS) coming

Like sorting your recycling, yard waste and garbage, emailing your representative, writing your congressperson, signing yet another petition may feel tedious, time-consuming, and ultimately not that effective. Don't let it stop you! Many organizers have come up with ways to make it super easy to prompt you with links, scripts, and reminders. It's a little action against a big system—but there are a lot of us.

Your action:

  • Find an organization that represents the cause you feel most motivated to do something about. Get signed up for their prompt system, then follow their prompts. Some options:

  • Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP): Join JVPs daily Power Half-Hour for Gaza for guidance and hand-holding while taking on the day's priority petitions, emails, etc.

  • 350Seattle: The Civic Action Team sends alerts about critical environmental petitions, letter-writing, email campaigns throughout the 2025 legislative session.

  • Working Families Party: Join a mass call to get hooked up with phone/text banking efforts

  • Show Up for Racial Justice (SURJ): Monthly Abolition Action Hours include guidance, focus, and comaraderie while you get key communications out about critical abolition decisions.
