I want to spend my money in ways that further the work I put into human rights, not obstruct it. I'm a tiny player in a huge system...but there are a lot of us. Here are a couple of apps we can use to make conscionable shopping choices. 

Your action:

  • No! Thanks: Use this app to determine if the products you purchase align with boycott, divestment & sanctions against Israel. Developed by a Palestinian man who has lost family members to Israeli settler colonialism (as per above). 

  • EWG Healthy Living: Environmental Working Groups compendium of food, personal care, and household cleaner ratings in terms of physical, developmental or environment harm (or lack of it).

  • Good On You: Ethical and sustainability ratings on fashion brands in terms based on impact to people, planet and animals. Provides alternative options to brands deemed 'avoid'.
